heatwave conditions persist across most areas

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department most parts of Pakistan are expected to experience dry weather today, with hot conditions prevailing during daytime. However upper and western regions may witness partly cloudy skies and scattered rainfall.

In Karachi, hot and humid weather is likely to continue, with sunshine dominating throughout the day.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 26°C, while the current temperature stands at 28°C. Humidity levels are high at 81%, making conditions feel more uncomfortable.

The maximum temperature is expected to range between 33°C and 35°C, with southwesterly winds blowing at 12 km/h. The sky will remain clear, and there is no chance of rainfall.

Overall Weather Outlook:

In Islamabad and surrounding areas, the weather will remain dry and warm during the day, with a possibility of partly cloudy skies in the afternoon.

Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to remain partly cloudy. Rainfall is likely in areas including Dir, Chitral, Swat, Malam Jabba, Kohistan, Abbottabad, and Mansehra. Meanwhile, Bajaur, Khyber, Kohat, Parachinar, Waziristan, Bannu, and Kurram may experience rain accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorms at isolated places.

Across Punjab, hot and dry weather is expected in most districts. However, the Pothohar region may see partly cloudy conditions later in the day. Murree, Galiyat, and nearby areas could receive light rain with thunder. Dusty winds are also expected in southern parts of the province.

In Sindh most districts will remain hot and dry, while southern areas may experience partly cloudy skies.

In Balochistan, areas including Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, Sherani, Qila Abdullah, and Qila Saifullah are likely to receive light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds at a few locations.

Similarly Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir may witness partly cloudy weather with chances of rain at isolated places.

Overall hot conditions will dominate most parts of the country, while northern regions may see brief spells of rain and thunderstorms, bringing slight relief from the heat.
