
Attaullah Tarar said that ceasefire between US and Iran will end at 4:50 AM PST on April 22.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said Pakistan is awaiting a formal response from Iran regarding confirmation of its delegation for the peace talks with the United States in Islamabad.
In a post on X, he stated that Pakistan, acting as a mediator, remains in continuous contact with Iranian officials and is actively promoting diplomacy and dialogue.
He added that the ceasefire will end at 4:50 AM PST on April 22, and Iran’s decision about joining the talks before the end of the two-week ceasefire is very important.
Attaullah Tarar further said that Pakistan has made sincere efforts to convince the Iranian leadership to take part in the second round of negotiations, and these efforts are still ongoing.
