
Iconic Indian playback singer Asha Bhosle has been hospitalised in Mumbai after suffering a serious cardiac emergency, sparking widespread concern across the entertainment industry and among millions of fans worldwide.
The 92-year-old artist was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital on April 11 after experiencing breathing complications and a reported heart attack.
She was immediately admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where she remains under close medical supervision. Hospital sources have confirmed that her condition is critical, with doctors continuing efforts to stabilise her.
Medical officials have refrained from sharing detailed updates, but confirmed that she is receiving intensive treatment. Reports indicate that along with cardiac complications, she is also battling a severe chest infection.
Asha Bhosle, regarded as one of the most influential voices in Indian music history, has had an extraordinary career spanning more than eight decades.
