Kristi Noem, former Department of Homeland Security secretary, has responded to allegations her husband, Bryon Noem, is a cross-dresser.
Speaking to The New York Post, Kristi’s camp said she is “devastated” and “blindsided.”
“Ms. Noem is devastated. The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time,” TMZ quoted a statement as saying.
According to The Daily Mail, Bryon snapped photos of himself wearing oversized fake breasts and chatted with adult performers.
Photos allegedly published by the outlet show Bryon wearing women’s clothing.
According to TMZ, Kristi and Bryon have three adult children and they’re grandparents.
Last month, President Donald Trump fired Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem after months of controversy.
Kristi Noem’s personal life also came under scrutiny, with a Democratic lawmaker asking whether she had a sexual relationship with top aide Corey Lewandowski.
Noem called the question from US Representative Sydney Kamlager-Dove “tabloid garbage.”
Her alleged publicly funded sky yacht trips with Corey Lewandowski were mentioned in a series social media posts after Trump fired her.
She was also accused of funneling $100 million contracts to her friends. None of allegations could be verified against Kristi Noem.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump told the Daily Mail he was surprised to hear the Noem family did not deny the shocking report into Bryon’s lewd online behavior.
“They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad,” Trump said in a phone call.
“I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it,” Trump added.
