Zendaya reacts to viral AI wedding photos and shares ‘real’ footage on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Zendaya addressed speculation about her relationship with Tom Holland after AI-generated wedding images sparked buzz
Zendaya has addressed speculation surrounding her relationship with Tom Holland after viral AI-generated wedding images and rumours about a secret ceremony gained traction online.
The Emmy-winning actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday to promote her upcoming film The Drama, co-starring Robert Pattinson. During the interview, host Jimmy Kimmel asked about the headlines, to which Zendaya replied, “Really? I haven’t seen any of them.”
She also responded to the widely shared AI-generated wedding photographs, explaining, “Many people have been fooled by them.
While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,’ and I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real.’” Zendaya added that even people close to her believed the images were genuine and were upset about not being invited.
In a humorous attempt to address the confusion, Zendaya presented what she described as “real” wedding footage during the programme. Introducing the clip, she said, “Well, I just you know a little something to just clear the confusion.” She confirmed it had not been shared publicly before, adding, “No, no, no. No, this is first time.”
The video appeared to show Zendaya dressed as a bride posing with a groom and family members in what resembled a courtroom-style wedding setting. However, the footage suggested a manipulated clip, with Tom Holland’s face seemingly pasted over another actor’s. When Kimmel noted it resembled a scene from her film, Zendaya joked, “No, that was that was real footage,” continuing the playful tone.
The clip is widely believed to be from The Drama, with Zendaya using it to mock the spread of fabricated wedding content online.
Rumours were further fuelled earlier this month when stylist Law Roach claimed, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it,” later adding, “It’s very true,” while laughing.
Zendaya and Holland, who met while working on the Spider-Man films, are also set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, scheduled for release in July.
