According to local reports, rescue and relief efforts have been launched across the state, with 100 military personnel deployed to support ongoing search and rescue operations.
Among the worst-affected areas is the city of San Angelo, which has witnessed widespread damage due to the storm and subsequent flooding.

Authorities report that several areas in Texas experienced rainfall equal to several months’ average within just a few hours, leading to severe flash flooding.
Streets and neighborhoods were inundated, with water levels rising several feet in some locations. According to weather data, rainfall ranged from 6 to 10 inches in different parts of the state, overwhelming drainage systems and leaving many roads impassable.
