LAHORE: The newly-elected leadership of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has pledged to foster transparency, unity and grassroots development in football across the country.
Vice Presidents Hafiz Zakaullah, Naveed Aslam Lodhi and Dr. Muhammad Ali have reaffirmed their determination to go all out for promotion of football. Hafiz Zakaullah emphasised the Federation’s intent to bring together key stakeholders—players, coaches, and technical experts—to push Pakistani football forward. “Under President Mohsen Gilani, we aim to unify and uplift Pakistan’s football landscape. National reconciliation is a core principle in our roadmap,” he stated.
Naveed Aslam Lodhi praised the Normalisation Committee for completing the electoral process, shifting focus towards rebuilding the game after years of stagnation. “With elections now complete at all levels, we can finally recover the momentum lost over the past decade,” he remarked.
Dr. Muhammad Ali stressed the need for equal provincial representation and stronger grassroots inclusion. “Pakistan football has stood still since 2015. It’s time to revive it by ensuring opportunities for all provinces,” he said, highlighting Balochistan’s improved representation with six key positions across the Federation.
